| How
to Operate
When you have decided to try the club, we will send you the quantity of pupil catalogues that you require on the basis of one per pupil. The catalogues should be distributed to participating children and within a suitable period of time orders returned with payment to the book club coordinator. Pupil orders can then be entered on The Organiser software or on the printed master order form, free books can be selected and the order sent to Baker Books. Orders will be supplied promptly and delivery is free of charge within the UK. There are four issues per year: Autumn (Sep-Oct), Winter (Nov-Dec), Spring (Jan-Mar) and Summer (Apr-Jun) - there is no obligation to order from every issue and no minimum order value. The club is simple to operate and help with any queries is readily available from our Customer Service team.
The pupil catalogues are printed in GB Pounds and Euros so can be distributed as they are in Euro Zone countries. Outside Euro Zone countries we strongly recommend using the free Organiser software which enables a pupil order form to be generated in local currency incorporating the postage charge.
International Delivery
Our standard method for sending smaller orders is via the Royal Mail M Bag service for printed paper. This service provides reliable and prompt shipment of books by air to you with the minimum of customs delay. This is an appropriate despatch method for all sizes of consignment to most destinations worldwide but for larger orders we also use Express Freight via road within Europe and by air outside Europe. Standard charges for postage and packing, as a percentage of order value, and estimated delivery times are shown below. For non-standard shipment or for special requirements a higher rate may need to be charged. |
