Offline Organiser

Download the offline Organiser software – Summer 2012 Issue

The offline version of the Organiser has now been superseded by the Online Organiser which has a number of enhancements. We strongly recommend that you use the Online version unless unable to do this because of the broadband service in your area.

Install Instructions

If you choose Run, the software will download the setup.exe file and start installing it in a folder called Organiser or if you Save the setup.exe file then double click on the file to start installing it. During installation you will be presented with a window headed ‘Select Components’ and a tick box option for Pupil Database – if you have entered an order from a previous issue and wish to retain the class and pupil lists which you have created, leave the Pupil Database box unticked. If this is the first time you have installed the software, or if you are creating a new Organiser folder, then tick the box and it will then enable you to enter your class and pupil data.

Click on Start, Programs, Organiser and then on the Organiser icon to open the software. The comprehensive Help file can be accessed from the ? button at the top of the screen and can answer most queries and there are useful hint lines at the bottom of the screen.

For schools in the Euro Zone your order can be prepared in Euros and to match the prices in the catalogues you will need to use the conversion rates (including postage) rounded to the nearest .10 – the Summer issue is 1.50 to one GB Pound. If you have selected Euros as the currency then both the Master Order Form from the Organiser and the email Master Order Form will appear in Euros, for all other currencies the Master Order Form will appear in GBP. The calculation of free books continues to be done in GBP.

Please note that you should send your order file as an attachment to an email and not via your browser. In the Master Order Form window please follow the usual process of preparing an email order, click on the Email icon and the order will display in your browser and create the email order file (XML file). To send the order to us, prepare an email and attach the file XX…XML which is located in your Organiser folder.

If you need any assistance with the offline Organiser please contact us via email on enquiries@bakerbooks.co.uk or phone during UK working hours on +44 (0) 1483 267888.
